How do I apply for a Concealed Firearm Permit ?

So, You're ready to arm yourself and you need to know what step to take next. Upon completion of your "safety" class you are issued the certificate.  

All you have to do is make an appointment at a "One Stop" processing center and bring your Certificate, photo ID and $119.00 for the license and a smile! They will take your fingerprints, conduct the background check, and take the photo for your license all at the same time. You complete the application right there and they submit everything for you. It's just that easy!

What should I bring with me when I apply for my FL Concealed Weapon License?

· A picture ID. A driver license or state-issued identification card is acceptable.

· A copy of a training document or other certificate that confirms that you are proficient with a firearm.

Payment of $119.00

How long will it take to receive my license?

The turnaround time for processing a new concealed weapon license application is approximately 50 to 55 days. Please be aware that by law FDACS has 90 days from the date we receive a complete application to either issue a license or deny the application.
